Если не ошибаюсь, в одной из книг ЛТТ сказал Ранду, что запечатывая Скважину, он коснулся потоками саидин Тёмного и поэтому он смог запятнать саидин.

Well my bullet points of things from the book, only have one read through, started second but no room to lug the book w/ me through china:

First Verin and Mat.... FFS Verin, why didnt you tell mat to act as he feels with the information, NOT command him to act..... Ending the book like that really irked me.

The Avendiha (spelling.. i know, im at a hostel in Jiuzhaigou, can barely type on this keyboard) chapter, I understand its significance, but wasn't sure why it was sorta thrown in the book here, seemed lost. Though, it appears Rand lives through Last battle, Fathers even more kids, but doesnt live too long; Maybe he is permanently Stilled in the battle. Curious about the Senchan, this implies that right now the path is on towards them dominating the world a few generations past LB.

Also the Senchan abscence from the book has me a little worried

Perrin, Wow finally i dont feel pain reading a chaper with perrin in it; he finally just does stuff instead of moping there all day. Love the hammer it sounds like its going to be important later.

Very curious about Taim, he has a dream spike, and he is training people VERY fast, maybe an inverted stasis box (or a portal stone) where they can have years to train, but only take 1 day in 'real' world. We know he is either playing both sides or fully evil, i guess we will see, where is Logain???

Moranie!!! Yeah finaly, shame jain farstrider had to die for it. Wish we'd gotten the reunification scene w/ her and rand.

Im torn about Ewegene, though looking forward to the rand/ewegene confrontation in AMOL. the Mesaana battle scene was interesting, especially considering who else she brought to bear for it.

I did like mat and perrin's reunion, despite it seeming short lived, was surprised that the two together didnt cause stuff like rot receding etc.

Also how far along is Elayne? Is it possible that the babies could be born when the bore is opened in 1 months time?

The possibilities for Callandor seem interesting. We know rand will choose Nayanve (spelling again) and one other, who though Avendiha, Ewegene, the super strong senchan girl. If rand is welding callendor, who will be holding the access key? or will it be destroyed.

Ewegenes dream about rand cutting ropes around a giant crystal sphere, she seems to think it refers to the bore, could it also be either the Giant Sa'angrel or the crystal throne?

1. Личность Месааны установлена, это всё же та, на кого думало большинство (Данелле).
2. Есть кое-какие намеки на то, за кем скрывается Демандред. Надо перечитать.

Ох, Верин, ну почему ты не сказала Мэту поступить с информацией так, как ему подскажет сердце, не КОМАНДУЯ им? Такой конец книги меня раздражает.
Глава Авиенды, я понимаю её важность, но почему она была вброшена в книгу именно здесь? Она как-то потерялась на общем фоне. Впрочем, выходит, Ранд выживет в Последней Битве, станет отцом еще большего количества детишек, но долго не проживет. Возможно, он будет навсегда Укрощен в бою. Интересно с Шончан выходит, пока что получается, что они будут править миром в течение несколько поколений после Последней Битвы.
То, что в книге было мало Шончан, заставило меня беспокоиться.
Перрин. Ну наконец-то приятно читать его главы; наконец-то он делает что-то стоящее, вместо нытья круглый день. (дальше непонятно из-за отсутствия знаков препинания, но вроде так:) Обожаю его молот, возможно, он сыграет большую роль в будущем.
С Таимом инетерсно вышло: у него есть dream spike (не знаю, что имеется в виду), и он тренирует своих людей ОЧЕНь быстро, возможно у него есть некий стасис-накопитель или Портальный камень, где они могут тренироваться годами, а в реальном мире проходит всего один день. Теперь точно ясно, что Таим либо ведет двойную игру, либо он и вправду злой, но где же Логайн??
Морейн!! Наконец-то! Жаль, что Джейину Далекоходившему пришлось умереть для её спасения. Скорее бы увидеть её встречу с Рандом.

Я беспокоюсь из-за Эгвейн, с нетерпением жду её с Рандом противостояния в Памяти Света. Сцена битвы с Месааной была интересной, особенно с учетом того, кого та привела с собой на эту битву.
Я рад встрече Мэта и Перрина, пусть и, кажется, недолгой, странно, что их одновременное присутствие не вызвало сокращения порчения продуктов.
Сколько еще Илэйн осталось вынашивать детей? Возможно ли, что она родит, когда Скважина в Узилище откроется в течение месяца?
Интересные возможности у Калландора. Мы знаем, что одной из двух женщин станет Найнив, а вторая будет Авиенда, Эгвейн или Аливия. Но если Ранд будет с Калландором, то кто будет с ключом доступа? Или он будет уничтожен? (не поняла, о каком ключе доступа речь, ведь ЧК уничтожен - или будет найден еще один са'ангриал с ключом? - прим.перев.)
Эгвейн видит Сновидение о Ранде, перерезающим веревки вокруг гигантской хрустальной сферы. Она считает, что это относится к Скважине, но может ли это быть еще один мега-са'ангриал или Хрустальный Трон?

Don't have the book yet but a friend let me read the first five chapters, so I figure I'd put my thoughts and questions down at this point (remember, though I ask the question you aren't allowed to answer with anything beyond chapter 5)... lets see...

Liked the Egwene and Rand interaction--people have called it underwhelming, but I think a temper tantrum would have been annoying at this point--and I really loved the interaction between Rand and Siuan. Awesome. Found the whole 'omg Rand is so cool I just bet he could break a full circle of thirteen' thing a bit gratuitous. I really hope this doesn't go on, it runs the risk of him getting too cool for school, if you know what I mean. One thing I may or may not include under that reference is Bryne referring to him as being like an Aes Sedai--this could be just one of those things, or it could be the first step toward men being accepted as Aes Sedai again, something I wouldn't have thought plausible. If the thought is being entered into evidence now, though... This brings me to the questions.

1. Why Tiana? How did Verin know Rand would come near her, and why trust this to an Aes Sedai who seems relatively incompetent?

2. What's Egwene's plans for the Wise Ones. This in particular really intrigues me--I know alot of people will look at that and say 'oh Egwene's so arrogant', but I look at it and recall her respect for the Wise Ones, and thoughts like the one about Aes Sedai learning from the Wise Ones, and can't help but think her plan will be one that isn't so much about gaining control of the Wise Ones, but one to incorperate their strength and capability into the Towers--which can only be a good thing, to my mind.

As for Perrin and Galad--I liked chapter four more than I liked all of Perrin's previous chapters together--the return of focus to his arc is a very welcome evolution. And Galad--finally an argument that I could actually see would bring the Whitecloaks to ally with the Aes Sedai. The whole thing with the Blight was really cool as well--and he's beginning to creep me out with his intentions (like in a good way). I genuinely believe he can lead the Whitecloaks back into a position of influence--which I don't like in the 'oh no the Whitecloaks are horrible human beings' sense, but do think is a nifty thematic twist. I look forward to when Galad and Perrin meet. Bornhald will be all 'he's the man who killed my father' and Morgase will be 'he's the man who saved your mother'.

Then of course there is chapter 5. What an epic chapter. So many elements. Despite Egwene's dream I still think that the murders are being commited by the Bloodknives--so the question is...

3. Is Mesaana involved with the Bloodknives, or will there be a different set of murders upcoming?

4. Are the three Aes Sedai murdered before the one in chapter 5 Nalasia Merhan, Teramina and Jamilila Norsish, or is the death count actually up to seven?

Beyond that, I found it interesting that Gawyn referenced that no one knew what Egwene was planning for the palace Elaida begun--another foreshadow for the resolution of the male channeler issue? Also the fact that she is planning to have a lot of Accepted (and like advanced Rebel novices) tested was cool. I've already said I think the chapter 'A Testing' will likely be Nynaeve testing and raised to the shawl... I thought Darlin was a clever approach for Egwene to take, but I'm looking forward to her having more issues in undercutting Rand than she realises. Also, though I agree with Egwene that Gawyn is not ready, her high-handed way of dealing with him was a little annoying. As a final note, her plan for dealing with Mesaana intrigues me. I believe Egwene is capable enough to take down Mesaana.

Graendal. Didn't love the way she was written, but I did love the content of this scene. So many tidbits. The fact that Moridin seems to know the Dark Ones thoughts and sounded like him at one point has all sorts of creepy implications for the link to Rand. Graendal's reference to their former humanity was also nice, as were the various thing of the power. The Dreamspike, once activated, I'm guessing went to Tel'aran'rhiod... that seems the likely explanation.

5. Who has the other Dreamspike?

6. The prophecy of Perrin's death. I wonder if its a trick against Graendal--all that 'he will escape you' stuff.
